Bracknell MP Peter Swallow has visited South Hill Park on his latest stop of a tour of the local community.
The new Labour MP for the town visited the beloved arts venue to speak with the CEO Craig Titley.
Posting on his social media, along with a picture of the two of them, Mr Swallow said that they discussed ‘the important role South Hill Park plays as a cultural hub for Bracknell Forest’.
The historic park is located south of Bracknell town centre, and hosts more than 300 shows, films and events a year. As well as this, the centre holds more than 250 course and workshops.
The Grade II listed building is surrounded by landscaped gardens, lakes and woodlands, and is a popular filming location.
It has been a celebrated part of the Bracknell Forest area for decades, with links to famous author Oscar Wilde and former prime minister Gladstone Glade.
