JD Wetherspoons has applied to change the use of the first floor of The Old Manor Pub in Bracknell.
Bracknell Forest Council must approve plans to convert the use from staff living accommodation to a general staff room.
The pub on Grenville Place would also like to make external repairs to the building and redecorate.
The application has been validated by the council and is pending decision.

Boyd Court in Bracknell is getting a new children’s play area, pergola and community gardens after planning permission was granted by Bracknell Forest Council.
The estate is located to the west of Bracknell town centre, off Downshire Way.
There are plans to also improve lighting levels across the site, safety and security, as well as bin and cycle storage.
A consultation was held in September 2023 where residents of the estate were shown the proposals.
Wokingham Borough Council: 242067
An outline application for the development of 99 homes in Hurst has been received by Wokingham Borough Council.
Developers Mactaggart and Mickel Strategic Land are seeking approval of the ‘principle’ of the houses which would be located between Lodge Road and Tape Lane in Hurst.
The new homes would come with open green spaces, pedestrian and cycle links and recreational facilities.
Given the size of the proposal, it is likely to be decided by Wokingham Borough Council’s planning committee in coming months.

Waitrose Supermarket would like to make changes to the car park of the site in Wokingham town centre.
The store, located on Rectory Road, would like to install three buttresses and a supporting wall on the boundary between the car park and Montague House.
Consultants from The Morto Partnership recommended that the wall be stabilised after finding the north-east end significantly leaning. Given that it is Grade II listed, an ‘appropriate conservation-led approach’ must be undertaken.

A bid to enclose a private garden with a fence has been rejected by Bracknell Forest Council. It is not clear where the private garden was located in relation to the property on the application.
The private garden on 5 Lauradale, Bracknell would have a 6-foot-tall fence erected around it.
But it was rejected by the council on grounds that it would mean cars could not have good enough visibility of the surrounding roads.
