A revamped play area and improved gardens are on the way for a neighbourhood in Bracknell.
Boyd Court is a social housing estate run by Silva Homes of 192 homes located off Binfield Road near Bracknell town centre.
The estate is made up of 90 one-bed, 98 two-bed, two four-bed and two three-bed homes.
Now Silva Homes can get to work on a new play area, enhanced gardens and other improvements to public outdoor areas.
Justifying the project, a planning agent from Bailey Garner argued that the existing public spaces for neighbours in Boyd Court are 'unused' and lack connectivity to other areas of the estate.
Therefore, Silva Homes applied to add a trampoline, a ball labyrinth, interactive 'four-in-a-row games' and boulders to the existing play area.
Other improvements to the estate include the installation of five wayfinding signs to help people get about, four information boards for residents and landscaping for the community garden.
The project was approved by Bracknell Forest Council's planning department on Wednesday, August 21.
Judging the project, planning officer Basia Polnik said: "The scale of enhancements to the landscaping will be consistent with what is already in place on the site and the introduction of additional community infrastructure would enhance the site for the families that live there, as well as enhancing an open space of public value."

A consultation on the improvements was undertaken last September.
