The old Hurst Lodge private school is being used by a company that has assisted with a number of major productions, adding to the filming pedigree of the area.

Filming is set to take place at a former private school in Ascot.
Hurst Lodge in Bagshot Road was vacated in 2018 to merge with Hawley Place School in Blackwater, with teaching now taking place in Yateley Hall, Hampshire.
The vacancy of the site has cleared the way for it to be temporarily used for filmmaking.
The application mentions 'Nuncle Films Ltd', which has assisted in productions starring comedy actor Seth Rogan and other acting giants.
Bracknell Forest Council has approved of the activity, as long as noise mitigation measures are taken.

Extensions to a semi-detached house in the Priestwood and Garth area have been approved.
The house currently comes with normal living facilities and a garage on the ground floor, with three bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor.
Extensions will create space for an enlarged kitchen with a breakfast bar, dining room, lounge, a downstairs shower and toilet and a new garage at ground level.
Upstairs, a fourth master bedroom with an ensuite can be made, with one of the existing bedrooms having a shower added to it.
Approval for the substantial extensions was granted on Thursday, August 29.

The Fonehouse shop in Market Place, Wokingham will be getting a new sign.
The new sign contains white lettering on a black board, replacing the existing grey board.
According to news from June, an interior upgrade has recently been completed.

Changes to a controversial plan to build four new homes in Hurst have been given the go-ahead.
A developer has consent to build two four-bed detached and two three-bed semi-detached homes at the triangle junction of Sawpit Road, Church Hill and School Road in the village.
Although the project was rejected by Wokingham Borough Council due to its encroachment into the countryside, it was approved by the government's planning inspectorate in August 2022.
Changes to the elevations, internal layout and finished floor levels for the new homes have been approved by the council's planning department.
