A blue Volkswagen crashed into a roundabout after a near miss with a van at the junction on Finchampstead Road.
The incident happened at around 2:30pm on Monday, September 2 at the roundabout outside the Ford garage and showroom.
According to reports, the elderly lady driver is unharmed following the road traffic collision.
The lady, Mrs Scott, told a local resident that she had to take swift action [and drive onto the roundabout] when the other driver did not stop.
Staff at the nearby Group 1 Ford Garage came to the driver’s aid at the scene, making sure that she did not require medical assistance.
The car was recovered from the roundabout after staff at the garage called for recovery.
