The date for the Annual Wokingham Fireworks Extravaganza is fast approaching!
Saturday, November 2 will see an amazing pyrotechnic fireworks display choreographed to some great music in Wokingham’s Cantley Park.
This great family-friendly event starts with something unique and atmospheric - a torchlight procession, led by St Sebastian’s Band, from Wokingham Town Hall to Cantley Field where you will find a fantastic fairground with numerous food outlets to suit all tastes.
The procession leaves at 6:15pm – or you can go straight to the field which opens at 5:30pm.
Chair of the Wokingham Fireworks Charity, David Gold, says “Despite inflation the tickets remain very reasonably priced, with children 7 and under just £1. Thanks to the people of Wokingham’s support for this community event."
Charities being supported this year are debra - the butterfly skin charity, Keep Mobile accessible transport, Home Start Wokingham District and Samaritans of Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot and Districts.
