A man from Bracknell has been charged with the rape of a teenager which is believed to have happened in Hampshire earlier this year.
Officers investigating the rape of a 15-year-old girl have charged the man who will appear in court next month.
Diwan Khan, 39, of Abbotsbury, Bracknell, Berkshire, has been charged with rape and appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court on Saturday September 14. He has been remanded to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, October 16.
The charge comes after officers received a report on Tuesday, September 10.
It was reported that a 15-year-old girl had been raped. The incident is believed to have taken place in the Fleet/Farnborough area of Hampshire in July this year.
The girl has been supported by specialist officers.
