Changes are coming to an office building in Crowthorne despite objections from the local parish council.
Bracknell Forest Council has approved number 4A Dukes Ride in Crowthorne to convert into an office and storage space.
However, it has already been in use for more than ten years, giving grounds to not provide a certificate of lawfulness, Crowthorne Parish Council argued.
The building is currently occupied by Crowthorne Heating Company Limited.

A bid to build two houses in Winkfield has been scrapped after refusal from Bracknell Forest Council.
Developers wanted to build the homes on land northwest of North Street in Winkfield, near Windsor. This would include associated parking, landscaping and a wildlife meadow.
However, Winkfield Parish Council recommended refusal for the plans because it was on a green field site.
Based on this, Bracknell Forest Council refused the plans, arguing that it would be inappropriate development in the countryside, with the applicant failing to show how the site would enhance biodiversity.

Wellington College will build 12 new sports courts on its grounds after permission was granted by Bracknell Forest Council.
The independent school in Crowthorne would like to remove its existing tennis court and construct 12 brand new courts that can be used to play tennis and netball.
Bracknell Forest Council has said that tree protection measures must be undertaken in order to not negatively impact the surrounding of the courts.
The school first applied for the new courts last year.

Owners of Billingbear Farm would like to convert a barn on their grounds for alternative use.
The Dutch Barn on Billingbear Farm in Binfield is currently used for agricultural purposes, but owners would like to create worker’s dwellings.
This would consist of three two-bedroom apartments with associated parking, bin and cycle storage.
They would also remove the existing caravans if plans go ahead.
The plans have been validated by Bracknell Forest Council, and a decision is yet to be made.
Note: Due to the Wokingham Borough Council planning portal being down, only Bracknell planning decisions were included in this week's planning roundup.
