Wokingham Borough council has commended two important organisations in the community for a huge recent achievement.
A spokesperson for the council recently wrote a post on social media stating that Freely Fruity and CLASP have been acknowledged for their contributions to the borough's community.
They were also recognised for their nominations alongside many other groups from across the county at Wokingham Town Hall last month by Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire Andrew Try.
The spokesperson posted several photographs of the event on social media along with the following caption congratulating the two valuable organisations in the town.
They said "ROYAL recognition for huge contributions to the borough’s community
"Congratulations to Freely Fruity and CLASP, which have both been nominated for the King's Award for Voluntary Service
"They were recognised for their nominations alongside groups from across the county at Wokingham Town Hall last month by Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire Andrew Try."
