Thames Valley Police have given an update on a recent kidnapping that occurred outside a popular pub in the area.
At around 9.30 pm on Wednesday, September 25, a man in his twenties was kidnapped outside the Prince Pub in Crowthorne.
He had met three men at the establishment and they all then left the pub onto the High Street before the victim was bundled into a vehicle.
The offenders drove with the victim in the vehicle for around 25 minutes before he managed to escape at Binfield Road in Wokingham.
The police have now revealed that all three arrested men have been released on conditional bail until December 27.
The victim, who is in his twenties, sustained minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
The vehicle is described to be a Mitsubishi 4X4.
The offenders are described as a tall, white man, of medium build and around 30-years-old, a white man of slim build, with grade two hair and in his early twenties and a white man, of stocky build, in his mid-thirties, with a blonde beard.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Georgia Martin said: “I understand that this offence may cause concern in the community but we believe that the individuals involved are known to each other and that this was a targeted and isolated incident.
“We are investigating this as a priority and we believe there is no threat to the wider public.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have information or dash-cam, mobile phone or any other form of video footage"
