Residents at a care home in Sunningdale were taken on a trip down memory lane by a classic car club.
Members of the Berkshire and District Classic Car Club (BADCCC) showcased their vintage vehicles at Dormy House Care Home, sparking nostalgia among the residents.
The club, formed by classic car owners from Berkshire and surrounding areas, entertained the residents with their impressive cars and stories.
One resident, Ron, was surprised by a reunion with an old friend and colleague.
After not seeing each other for eight years, they enjoyed reminiscing about their happy memories of working together in the tool-making industry.
Community relations manager Pamela Sharman said: "He had happy tears of joy and was still talking about this the next day."
Sandra Lowery, a club member, said: "It was a joy and privilege to visit Dormy House today, it’s a beautiful home.
"We were so pleased it created so much delight with the residents, all the car owners said they really enjoyed the event and the warm welcome they received."
The residents thoroughly enjoyed the club’s visit, admiring the iconic cars and learning about their histories.
To express their gratitude, Dormy House provided high tea after the show.
Dormy House, part of the Aria Care Group, provides residential, nursing, and dementia care on a permanent or short-stay basis.
