Members of the public have been sharing their well wishes on social media after it was announced that a young man was kidnapped by three men in Crowthorne. 

At around 9.30 pm on Wednesday, September 25, the young man who is in his twenties met with three people at a local pub.

They all then left the pub onto the High Street and the victim was bundled into a vehicle.

The offenders drove with the victim in the vehicle for around 25 minutes before he managed to escape at Binfield Road in Wokingham.

Since then a 33-year-old man, a 22-year-old man, and a 35-year-old man, all from Bracknell, were taken into custody.

The police have now revealed that all three arrested men have been released on conditional bail until December 27.

Since news of this broke people have been posting on social media expressing their concern for the young man who was involved. 

One concerned member of the public said "I hope this poor person is alright and they have got all the available support," which received a number of likes and reactions from other well-wishers. 

The victim, who is in his twenties, sustained minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment. 

The vehicle that was used to carry out the kidnapping is described to be a Mitsubishi 4X4.

The offenders are described as a tall, white man, of medium build and around 30-years-old, a white man of slim build, with grade two hair and in his early twenties and a white man, of stocky build, in his mid-thirties, with a blonde beard.

The kidnapping took place outside a popular pub in the area called The Prince. The pub is regularly attended by locals to Crowthorne and beyond and does a large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

The police have since released a statement explaining that they believe this to be an isolated incident and not a risk to the wider public. 

Investigating officer Detective Constable Georgia Martin said: “I understand that this offence may cause concern in the community but we believe that the individuals involved are known to each other and that this was a targeted and isolated incident.

“We are investigating this as a priority and we believe there is no threat to the wider public.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have information or dash-cam, mobile phone or any other form of video footage
