Three organisations have each received a share of £3,000 from Tesco.
The supermarket chain awarded the funds to Berkshire Search and Rescue Dogs (Berkshire SAR), Daisy's Dream, and Stepping Stones DS.
Berkshire SAR was given £1,500 to help increase the number of search dogs deployed when the charity is tasked by the police to search for vulnerable missing people.
Peter Duke, fundraising officer at Berkshire SAR, said: "We would like to thank Tesco’s Bracknell North store and its customers for their support.
"It will make such a difference to the work we do."
On average, the charity is called out once a week, but this is increasing with the growing number of dementia sufferers and those that are feeling despondent or suicidal.
Daisy's Dream, a bereavement charity, was awarded £1,000 to provide more children and young people with the opportunity to spend time with others who understand how they feel.
Stepping Stones DS was given £500 to provide specialised school outreach for pupils with Down Syndrome.
Amanda Eversden, community champion at the Bracknell North Superstore, said: "It is a real pleasure for us to present these grants to three groups that do such fantastic work in our communities.
"We really appreciate their tireless efforts to improve so many people’s lives."
The funding came from Tesco’s Stronger Starts scheme, in partnership with the Groundwork charity.
Shoppers can support the scheme by dropping the Tesco community token they receive at checkout into the relevant voting box as they leave the store.
