The event aims to raise money for the parent-teacher associations (PTAs) of Polehampton Infant & Junior Schools and The Colleton Primary School. This initiative helps fund educational projects that directly support pupils.

The trail will feature scarecrows made by residents, businesses, and community groups, expected to exceed last year's count of 60.

Each creation is set to be a show of creativity and imagination.

Maps are available to help guide families to each scarecrow, helping them plan their route.

Businesses have been encouraged to join in the festivities, creating their own scarecrows to display.

Shops will be open, providing food and drinks for adventurers to enjoy throughout the day.

The trail has been designed to encourage community spirit and bring the community together.

It has been designed to help connect neighbours, support schools and create memories.

The organisers of the trail promise those who participate that the trail will be a 'unique and enchanting experience for families.'

They encourage the community to come and enjoy the trail, and 'embark on a magical journey through the heart of Twyford.'

Families can buy printed maps for £3 each at Grapevine Estate Agents from 9am to 5pm, and Ola Coffee Shop from 8am to 3pm, to help navigate the trail.
