Dozens of people stepped out over the weekend to raise money for a charitable cause that is so dear to our town.
Many took part in the Wokingham Autumn Walk which looks to build funds Wokingham Lions Club who run numerous fund-raising events throughout the year, including the May Fayre, the Wokingham Winter Carnival and the Wokingham Walk.
The Wokingham Walk is a charity walk in and around Wokingham arranged by Wokingham Lions and lots of people joined them for the five, 10 or 15-mile routes. It was a fantastic day.
All proceeds from Wokingham Walk entry fees will be used to support local charitable causes.
The event started in Elms Field, Wokingham with a rolling start time from 9 am until 10.30 am.
The finish was manned until 5pm so there was no need to rush for all the entreped people who decided to dedicate their Sunday for helping a charitable cause.
Full details of the event can be seen on The Wokingham Lion's website here: https://www.wokinghamwalk.co.uk
