Lots of people rocked up at Princess Square over the weekend for the Autumn Volunteer Fair.
Those who attended kicked off the winter season right by finding out about ways you can get involved and make a difference in the local community.
People who are interested in volunteering, or just want to learn more about Involve or the voluntary and community sector as a whole, came to speak to the advisors at the fair
On Saturday October 12 from around 11am until 1:30pm, the team was in Bracknell Town Centre in the Princess Square Mall with various stalls to showcase what some local charities and good causes in the area have to offer.
A spokesperson said "We have invited various local voluntary and community sector organisations to come along so there will certainly be a variety of different opportunities for people to learn about and so much information about our amazing third sector for everyone to discover!
"Whether you’ve been considering volunteering for a while, the concept is entirely new to you, you’re unsure if you will have enough time, or if you just want to learn more about the work of your local VCSE sector, please feel free to come along to this free event; Everyone is welcome!"
If you have any further questions or queries what they do, or any other similar community events, or if you would be interested in having your organisation attend, please contact the Volunteer Services & Sector Development Manager, Fiona Swan, to learn more: fiona.swan@involve.community
