The date for the annual Wokingham Fireworks Extravaganza has been announced.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, November 2, will feature a pyrotechnic fireworks display at Wokingham's Cantley Park.
Beginning at 5.30pm, the family-friendly event will kick off with a torchlight procession led by St Sebastian’s Band, departing from Wokingham Town Hall at 6.15pm.
Attendees can either join the procession or head straight to Cantley Field, where a fairground and various food outlets await.
The fairground will offer a variety of different rides and attractions, catering to different tastes and preferences.
Food outlets at the event will serve a range of dishes, ensuring there's something for everyone.
With the fireworks set to music, the event promises to be a sensory delight for all ages.
David Gold, chair of the Wokingham Fireworks Charity, emphasised the community spirit of the event, noting that all proceeds go to charity.
Despite inflation, ticket prices have remain unchanged, with tickets for children aged seven and under only costing £1.
Mr Gold said: "All the money raised is donated to local charities and deserving causes."
The event will also have the added benefit of supporting several charities, including DEBRA, Keep Mobile Accessible Transport, Home Start Wokingham District, and the Samaritans of Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot, and Districts.
The Wokingham Fireworks Charitable Trust, which organises the annual event, consists of several service clubs, including the Easthampstead Rotary Club, Windsor Forest Unicorn Club, Wokingham Lions Club, and Wokingham Rotary Club.
Each of these clubs has a community-focused mission and hosts a variety of social activities for their members.
The clubs are always on the lookout for new members and volunteers to help out at the fireworks event. The trust encourages everyone to get involved and enjoy a night of celebration, camaraderie, and charity.
Tickets for the Wokingham Fireworks Extravaganza are only available via the website, wokingham-fireworks.co.uk.

As the date approaches, the Wokingham Fireworks Charitable Trust invites the community to join in the excitement and celebration while supporting charity.
The trust is committed to delivering a memorable event for all while benefiting the wider community.
With the fireworks set to music, the event promises to be a sensory delight for all ages.
