An appeal has been launched to collect 400 advent calendars.
The Lexicon's Advent Calendar Appeal, led by the Søstrene Grene team, was kick-started on October 21.
It aims to provide Bracknell Foodbank with 400 advent calendars as a 'festive treat' for families.
Last year, the initiative collected 300 advent calendars thanks to 'kind donations' from retailers and the community.
The appeal continues until November 17, with visitors encouraged to donate an advent calendar at The Lexicon Giving Box in Princess Square.
The Lexicon's head of marketing, Sue Boor, said: "We know, from previous campaigns run with Bracknell Foodbank, that an unexpected treat can really make a positive difference.
"We will be encouraging all our fabulous retail and restaurant team members to get involved again this year and hope that everyone might consider buying an extra advent calendar to donate, when purchasing their own."
Bracknell Foodbank's interim manager, Liz Fourie, said: "At Bracknell Foodbank, we feel it’s not just the necessities that show people we care, but also the little extras that mean so much, especially during what can be a very stressful time of the year."
The advent calendar appeal aims to bring a bit of joy to the community this festive season.
