A charity supporting children with disabilities has received a £5,000 donation.
Building for the Future, based in Wokingham, was selected by a Tesco customer to receive the money.
The donation was part of Tesco's Stronger Starts scheme, which allows customers to vote for charities to receive funding.
The charity was chosen by a customer at the Crowthorne Greenwood Express store.
Jane Holmes, CEO at Building for the Future, said: "We are blown away by this wonderful donation.
"It's such a lovely surprise and we are so grateful to the girl who nominated us after finding the golden token.
"Thank you so much.
"The money will go towards running our popular Saturday Clubs at Our House."
More than 100 Tesco stores across the country took part in the Golden Grants event, with £500,000 in total being donated to good causes that help children and young people.
Claire De Silva, Tesco Head of Communities said: "We know that £5,000 can make a huge difference to a school or community project, so we are incredibly proud to have been able to award Golden Grants to over one hundred schools and local projects to support the vital work they do for our children and communities."
Golden Grants are awarded twice a year as part of Tesco’s £8 million Stronger Starts grant programme, in partnership with the charity Groundwork UK.
