"We’re looking for that special someone who truly captures the spirit of Christmas – someone who can make children’s faces light up as they step into the magical world of Santa’s Grotto at Squire’s Wokingham.
"It’s about bringing joy, wonder, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic to every visit.
"Squire’s Santa will have the unique opportunity to create lifelong memories, not just for children, but for families too."
Squire’s is looking for someone who is "patient, great with children, and enthusiastic".
The garden centre said it prides itself on providing excellent customer service, with a friendly and helpful attitude and a "nothing is too much trouble for our customers" approach.
The role will involve working with a team of elves, chatting with children ahead of the big day, and presenting a gift to each child.
Santa will be required to make his special appearances at Squire’s Wokingham from November 23 to December 24 on selected dates and will need to be available to deliver a magical experience between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
The Squire’s Wokingham Grotto will be supporting the centre’s ‘Charity of the Year’, with £1 from the sale of each Grotto ticket sold going towards the centre’s charity partner, CLASP, a self-advocacy group for people with learning disabilities in the Wokingham Borough.
This means that every visit to Santa not only creates lasting memories but also gives back to the community in a meaningful way.
