After pastry week on the Great British Bake Off, there is now a new contestant in the running as a favourite to be a finalist.
According to TV expert James Leyfield, who has been monitoring the latest episode, Gill is now 2/1 third favourite from 4/1 last week and Paul Hollywood is expecting ‘better things’ from her going forward.
He has created markets for who could win the show which is filmed at Welford Park in Berkshire.

Mr Leyfield states that Dylan remains the 6/4 favourite to win the series, just ahead of 13/8 chance Sumayah.
She was in danger of going home in caramel week but she made amends in pastry week and it was between her and Gill for the Star Baker title.
Elsewhere, Georgie is 5/2 fourth favourite and Christiaan isn't far behind at 3/1.
At the other end of the market, Illiyin is 8/1 to win this year's Bake Off and just 13/8 to go home in Autumn Week on Tuesday night (October 29).
Elsewhere, Nelly is 2/1 to go home in Autumn Week.
