A telephone box dating back to 1936 has been restored and relocated to a recreation ground in Sunningdale.
The red K6 telephone box was originally located on Blacknest Gate Road in Ascot.
After being restored to its former glory, visitors at Broomhall Recreation Grounds watched it being lowered to the ground where it will stand for community use.
To cater to the thriving local community, the former telephone box is set to be transformed into a children’s book exchange.
Broomhall Recreation Ground is a traditional-style play area in Sunningdale with a range of play and sports equipment, all watched over by a smiling dragon.
There is a lot to keep everyone entertained at the park and has something which everyone will enjoy.
