South Hill Park Arts Centre is gearing up for the festive season with a packed schedule of events.
Kicking off the theatre offerings is the return of the award-winning pantomime, 'Robin Hood and the Magic Arrow' at the Wilde Theatre from November 29 to January 5.
The Studio Theatre will host 'The Ghost Train,' a story set in a remote Cornish station in 1925, running from December 3 to December 7.
For families, 'Santa’s Great Christmas Escape' offers an interactive adventure for children from December 7 to December 24 at McAllister’s.
On the music front, the Wilde Theatre will present 'Buddy Holly and the Cricketers: Holly at Christmas 2024' on December 3.
An ABBA tribute show by Platinum, described as 'better than the original' by the Evening Standard, will take over the Wilde Theatre from December 4 to December 10.
Jazz enthusiasts can enjoy a performance by the THREEWAY trio, featuring Steve Waterman, on December 6 in the Recital Room.
Guitarist Mark Jennings will perform a range of masterpieces on December 7 in the Recital Room.
On December 13, Italian pianist Giordano Buondonno will perform the keyboard sonatas of Domenico Scarlatti in the Recital Room.
3times7 will bring their funk, soul and blues mix to the Cellar Bar for a Christmas party on December 18.
