A Crowthorne supermarket has reopened after a major makeover.
The Co-op, in High Street, has been 'totally transformed' following works and improvements.
The store, which supports more than 20 local jobs, now offers an increased selection of fresh and chilled produce, meal ideas, and everyday essentials.
There are also bakery and dairy products, food-to-go, award-winning wines, Fairtrade products, ready meals, pizzas, and vegan and plant-based products available.
The renovation has also seen the introduction of several new services, including a self-service Wash.ME laundromat, Costa Coffee Express, a photo booth, and parcel collection services through an InPost Locker.
Online home delivery of groceries is also available through Just Eat and Deliveroo, with orders picked fresh in the local store and delivered to the community.
Co-op store manager, Paul Pearce, said: "The whole team is delighted to have had the opportunity to invest in Crowthorne.
"The store has been totally transformed with a fresh and spacious new look and feel – it looks fantastic.
"We are really looking forward to welcoming our members and customers back into their Co-op.
"It is always our aim to operate at the heart of local life and we have worked to develop the range, choice, and added services to serve and support our community, conveniently."
In addition to new flooring, ceilings, and refrigeration, the transformation works have included enhancements to back-of-shop storage areas to better serve the community.
A soft plastic recycling unit has also been installed.
This allows the community to return 'soft plastics' such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals and yoghurt pots, biscuit wrappers, and pet food pouches.
The Co-op, one of the world’s largest consumer-owned co-operatives, has a history dating back 180 years.
Members of Co-op own the business and enjoy a number of benefits, including member-only price savings and personalised offers.
Crowthorne’s Co-op opens from 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
