A Berkshire village has been covered in poppies to celebrate Remembrance Day this month.
Hurst Village, located in the heart of the Royal county, is known for having a close- knit community well-known for commemorating every memorable occassion with decorations across the village.
A group of highly skilled knitters from the village have been out decorating Hurst with personalised crocheted and knitted post box toppers.
Remembrance Day takes place on Monday, November 11 this year and commemorates and honours armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.
This year, The Hurst Hookers started putting out their woolley creations from October 26 on the run up to Armistice.
The post office toppers have also been extended to Twyford this year.
