A Bracknell kebab van, located near Warfield, was forced to close after only one weeks notice from the council.
Bracknell Kebab is a popular eatery located at Priory Lane Field.
Following notice from Bracknell Forest Council, the owners were told due to the sale of the land, they would no longer be allowed to trade within Priory Lane Fields.
The takeaway informed disappointed customers on social media that from Thursday, October 31 they would no longer be trading in the area.
They said: “Hey guys it’s with a heavy heart that after the 31st of October we will no longer be trading at Priory Lane Field as the council have sold the land for development and we are unsure as to where we will be trading from in the immediate future, however once we know for sure we will make you aware,
“We just want to say a massive thank you for the continued support over the past 2 and a bit months
“We can only apologise however we were only made aware recently ourselves.”
Loyal customers reached out to send their best wishes to the takeaway and express their disappointment at the news.
The owners said that they hope to be back open in another locations following communications with the council.
