Wokingham Lions Club has donated environmental-themed books to several schools.
Over the past year, the club has been providing sets of 'Wild Tribe Heroes' books, written by Ellie Jackson, to primary schools.
The stories in the books align well with the National Curriculum's environmental education aims, making them a valuable resource for schools.
The books not only entertain but also impart important messages in a gentle, engaging manner as they are aimed at primary school aged children.
So far, the schools that have benefitted from this initiative include Floreat's Montague Park Primary School, Wheatfield Primary School, Windmill Primary School, Westende Junior School, Bearwood Primary School, The Hawthorns Primary School, St Paul's Junior School, The Coombs Primary School, Oaklands Junior School, and Holme Grange School.
The Wokingham Lions Club is eager to extend this initiative to more schools.
Schools interested in receiving sets of 'Wild Tribe Heroes' books are encouraged to get in touch with the Wokingham Lions Club via email at mail@wokinghamlions.org.uk.
