Jonathan Williams has been welcomed to Heathfield, a boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18 as the new deputy head (academic).
He joins the school with a wealth of experience in the education sector, having served as the deputy head (academic) at St Andrew's School, Turi, a leading international school in Kenya, for the past five years.
Mr Williams also has a strong background in teaching religious studies, sociology, philosophy, and history.

He has held several leadership roles, including head of house, head of department, and head of faculty at schools across Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire, including St Helen and St Katharine in Abingdon.

With a degree in theology from St Andrews and a PGCE from Oxford Brookes, Mr Williams is well equipped for the role of deputy head (academic) at Heathfield.
He brings with him a wealth of experience from working in multiple schools rated 'Excellent,' including a top GSA school.

He has also benefitted from working internationally, in boarding contexts, and in the state sector.
Heathfield School, located in Ascot, has been rated 'Excellent' across all areas by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
It is a secondary boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18.
The school is known for its strong academic staff and its commitment to the success and well-being of its students.
Mr Williams said: "I am looking forward to investing in and interacting with students, staff, and the wider school community."
His appointment is seen as a positive step towards enhancing student learning at the school.
