Police have confirmed that an arrest has been made after a bomb disposal unit was spotted in a residential area of our town.
On November 15 residents reported that police along with a bomb disposal unit had been seen outside a residential home in Ringwood, Bracknell.
A heavy police presence had been at the scene for two days.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police has since confirmed that at around 8.44 pm on Thursday November 13 police were called to a fear for welfare incident on Ringwood, Bracknell.
A man in his fifties has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A scene watch is in place at Ringwood and officers are currently conducting enquiries in the local area along with Explosives Ordnance Disposal.
At this stage there is no wider threat to the public. There will be additional officers in the local area conducting reassurance patrols.
