A new hair salon could be coming to Warfield after plans to convert part of a residential home were submitted to Bracknell Forest Council.

Owners of number 6 Poyle Gardens in Warfield would like to change the use of part of the building into a hair salon, while the rest remains for residential use.

The garage on the site has recently been subject to a garage conversion.

A decision is yet to be made.

A dental surgery in Sandhurst would like to increase the number of patients the practice can see per day.

Number 7 York Way has been given permission to extend after it was taken to appeal with a government inspectorate.

This would see two new consultancy rooms built as well as more storage, reception and waiting room space.

But the dental practice is currently bound to see up to 32 patients a day, which owners of the surgery would like to remove.

Bracknell Forest Council has validated the application and a decision is pending.

Wokingham Borough Council: 242147

A new communications kiosk will not be coming to Woodley after plans were refused by Wokingham Borough Council.

A set of communications kiosks were suggested for areas across the Wokingham Borough – with some permitted while others, such as in Twyford, were rejected.

The application for one from New World Payphones on land outside 145 Crockhamwell Road, Woodley, was similarly refused as it would cause ‘harmful visual clutter’ on the street.

Plans included a digital advertising screen, defibrillator and telephone with emergency contact numbers.

A hotel will have part of its grounds converted for permanent residential use.

Bluebell House on Lovel Lane, Winkfield, will have part of its guest house become two one-bedroom flats.

It would result in the loss of four guest house rooms.
