Plans for a brand new sports and play facility has been released for Wokingham.
A new football pitch, sports pavilion, allotments and more have been planed for Finchwood Park, to the south of Arborfield Green.
Writing about the plans online, a spokesperson for Wokingham Borough Council said: "It's all kicking off. We've just received plans for new sports and play facilities at Finchwood Park, to the south of Arborfield Green."

The proposals for land off Park Lane include:
- A new senior football pitch and separate floodlit artificial pitch
- An informal kickabout area
- A sports pavilion
- A BMX pump track, play area and "trim trail" obstacle course
- Allotments and a community orchard
The council continued: "They would be provided by Cala Homes who are also seeking permission for 48 homes on adjoining land."
