Reports of anti-social behaviour across Bracknell Forest have reduced over the last year as police crack down on the offences across the town.

Thames Valley Police has released crime data from September 2024 which shows that there were a total of 95 incidents of anti-social behaviour were reported.

This is a reduction in the anti-social behaviour reported in police in Bracknell Forest in September 2023 when 110 crimes were reported.

Thames Valley Police marked anti-social behaviour week this week raising awareness of the crime and providing more police visibility in different areas.

This took place between Monday, November 18 to Friday, November 22.

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) is defined as “behaviour by a person which causes, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to persons not of the same household. There are three main categories for anti-social behaviour which are, depending on how many people are affected:

• Personal anti-social behaviour is when a person targets a specific individual or group.

• Nuisance anti-social behaviour is when a person causes trouble, annoyance or suffering to a community.

• Environmental anti-social behaviour is when a person’s actions affect the wider environment, such as public spaces or buildings.
