The owner of a popular food truck has said that he is ‘so excited’ to relaunch the Spud Wagon in the new Bracknell location this week.
The Spud Wagon opened in February 14, 2024 to much excitement in The Lexicon selling jacket potatoes with a host of different toppings.
Following it’s closure in July due to rising rent in the town centre and seasonal food changes, James Snowdon decided to reopen the truck in a different location close to the town centre.
The Spud Wagon will open on Friday, November 29 at 8am in car park of the Market Inn.
Alongside jacket potatoes, a new menu includes gourmet burgers and hotdogs, breakfast food, pie and mash, panini’s and much more.
James said: “We can’t wait to be back and bigger than ever. It’s really exciting.
“We’ll also be providing the customers at the Market Inn with food as their kitchen is closing as part of their refurbishment which is one reason why we’re offering an extended menu.
“We hope that the location opposite Bracknell Train Station will draw more people in when coming from and going to the station all times of day.”
This is just the start however for The Spud Wagon.
James told The News that he has been in discussions with other council’s following it’s success in Bracknell.
Many people have expressed their excitement that it will be returning to the town, bigger and better than ever.
