A local Bracknell ranger is set to lead a guided walk around Buckler’s Forest for interested nature lovers in the area.
The ranger, Joe Malyan will lead the walk on Sunday, December 1 to highlight all the local wildlife and fauna.
Interested residents who would like to witness all the beautiful surroundings in the area are encouraged to comment online to book a space.
Buckler’s Forest is a 42 hectare (103.7 acre) site in Crowthorne. It contains a variety of wildlife habitats, including woodland, acidic grassland, heathland, and ponds.
It has been created on land that was previously part of the Transport Research Laboratory (TRL).
The tour will begin at 11am in Buckler’s Forest car park. Residents have been advised to walk or car share if possible to the start point.
The walk is on surfaced paths and will last around 1.5 hours.
