A dog and its owner sustained injuries after a large black dog attacked them in a park in Warfield.
The incident occurred at approximately midday on Monday, November 18 at West Morland Park near the County Lane entrance.
A woman, believed to be in her thirties was walking the black dog off-lead alongside a medium-sized dog on-lead.
The victim’s small dog is currently receiving veterinary treatment for multiple severe injuries caused in the attack.
The victim received a bite to the arm, but did not attend hospital.
Investigating officer PC Bradley Butler said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward, particularly to anyone with video footage that may assist with our investigation.
“Anyone with information relating to the incident should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240561991.
