More homes could be built in Warfield after plans have been submitted to Bracknell Forest Council.
Developers Jordan Construction Limited would like to build up to 235 homes on land at Hayley Green.
The site area has been farmland since the 18th century.
The applicants are seeking outline permission from Bracknell Forest council’s planning bosses amid mass housebuilding in the area.
Some 2,200 homes have been planned for the village, known as the Warfield Strategic Development.
First outlined in 2015, the plans will deliver not only thousands of homes, but employment, a neighbourhood centre, two primary schools and a community hub to the area.

Cars would be able to access the new homes via Bracknell Road, Hayley Green Road and Forrest Road.
Developers also say they could do off-site highway works to provide new footways along Hayley Green. An enhanced crossing at the junction between Forest Road and Hayley Green could also be created.
A total of 35 per cent of homes will be affordable.
A river is located 60 metres north of the site, raising flooding concerns for local residents.

During a consultation period in 2022, locals described ‘historic flooding’ at the junction between Bracknell Road and Cricketers lane, as well as to the rear of properties on Forrest Road.
Flooding experts said that more than a fifth of the site is at risk from surface water flooding, meaning further tests would have to be carried out.
The application has been validated by Bracknell Forest Council, and a decision is yet to be made.
