An unlimited number of community events could soon be held in the heart of Crowthorne.
Crowthorne Parish Council has applied for rights to hold community events and markets at Jim Finnie Square on High Street, Crowthorne.
A change in use would give permission for an unlimited number of events and markets to take place in the village centre, available to charities and organisations.
A monthly market already takes place in the location, which returned on Saturday, September 28 after several months.

The authority closed its Sunday market in June this year, and a market has since been held on the last Saturday of each month.
Located outside Crowthorne Library, the market takes place on the last Saturday of each month to coincide with the Repair Café.

The parish council is also applying for a dropped kerb, making it easier for traders to drive onto the site of the market.
The current permit allows for only 14 events to be held per year, according to the parish council.
Weekly markets held previously were closed down in July as there weren’t enough traders.
Crowthorne Parish Council said free pitches were offered, but there was less uptake than hoped.
Funding will be used from the shared prosperity fund, which is split between parish councils across Bracknell Forest.
The application has been validated by Bracknell Forest Council’s planning officers and a decision is yet to be made.
