Mill Ride Golf Club ladies have qualified for the grand finale of the Annodata Matchplay Trophy.
The competition is the toughest and most prestigious team matchplay competition in the United Kingdom, with nearly 400 ladies teams taking part.
Mill Ride – whose side was made up of Jane Sly, Freya Burns, captain Fran Campbell, Fran Freeland and Carolyn Carrington – have reached the final four teams after beating Foxhills 5-0 in the quarter-finals and will now travel to Montecastillo Golf resort in Spain in November to compete in the semi-finals and potentially the final.
Campbell commented: "This is quite a feat for Mill Ride Golf Club as there are relatively few lady members and we have beaten some very tough opposition on their way to the semi-finals."
