A Wokingham racing driver has helped his team to a championship class win.
Bobby Trundley, 24, returned to Team BRIT for the final race of the season and helped the team secure the win.
The team is the world’s only competitive team of all-disabled racing drivers.
Having driven for the team since 2017, Trundley has spent most of this season away from the team, pairing up with 17-year-old Sandro Ballesteros from Rochdale, to drive as an autistic ‘super team’ in the 750 Motor Club’s championship.
Last weekend Trundley returned to the team pairing up with rookie driver Dom Shore in the final round of the Britcar Trophy Championship.
The pair competed in a BMW 1 series, and went into the race top of their class.
After qualifying P1, the pair managed to win their class in both races of the day, then securing the class win for the overall championship.
Trundley said: "It was great to be back with the team, working with Dom this weekend.
"Lots of progress was made during testing on Thursday, which resulted in two brilliant wins and securing the class championship.
"Team BRIT is continually proving that disability isn’t a barrier towards great achievement. The have changed the face of motorsport and I am so proud to be a part of this great Team."
